Marlborough College Malaysia has been at the forefront of positive wellbeing practice in the international community, winning a Strategic Leadership Award in 2022 for our success. Based on Martin Selignam’s concept of Positive Psychology, MCM appointed a Researcher in Residence, Diana Trif, with a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, mentored by Mr Seligman himself. For two years, Ms Trif embedded Positive Psychology into the College curriculum, and established a Wellbeing programme intended to build an effective Positive Education model for MCM.
